Howdy everyone! For those of you who have followed me for a while, you know that I don't typically stray from digital scrapping or sketching on this blog. Well, I heard about a grassroots movement today that is near and dear to my heart.

There's lots of discussion about global warming - is it real? alarmist? threat? a cycle of life? I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. Scientists now say that 350 parts per million CO2 in the atmosphere is the safe limit for humanity... our current global CO2 level is 387 (read more here). There's a movement this weekend to gain visibility of this and, hopefully, inspire a global movement to take action to reverse our current CO2 emissions trend. If this is of interest or concern to you, Saturday is te BIG DAY!!! Please go to 350.org and see what is happening in your neck of the woods. If it's not, no worries... back to my regularly scheduled program (new goodies and a freebie) Thanks for indulging me just this once :)

I'm celebrating back to school for my kiddos. I hope September is finding you all well and, for those of you transitioning back to fall, hopefully it's smooth and wonderful. I'm looking forward to soccer, swimming (indoor, lol!), piano lessons, and, hopefully, a few date nights with my sweetie ;)
